![]() I tried contacting Swann directly to see if they could help with this. I can see the cameras from either the Swann app on my phone or the HomeSafe View program on my computer. I also installed HomeSafe View on my PC, which works fine. I really don't have a Swann account to speak of, since I simply setup the Swann system on it's own, there was no account to setup, other than just the basic registration during setup to allow the Swann DVR to connect to the Swann Security App, which works perfectly. I used the same email and password that I used to create my Swann account when setting up the cameras to view in the Swann Security app. When I go to create an applet in IFTTT with Swann, I'll select say, Motion Detected, then the following page under "choose device" it just says "loading" but never finishes. I created a Swann account from the prompts, but I see no way of hooking up my DVR to that account. Trouble is, I don't know what that would be or how I would go about setting that up and "connecting" my DVR to a Swann account in the first place. ![]() When I select Swann in IFTTT and I go to "Connect", it asks me for a username/email and password. I am trying to get it connected to IFTTT. I have the Swann DVR8-5680 system that I purchased from Best Buy Canada. ![]()
